Why isn't the 486 blade marked BUCK?

Thank you kindly Post for the links. The custom turned out terrific. Eric is such a talent. Either blade, B&C 486 or sterile 486, would look great. The plain blade, with the thumb stud, looks aristocratic. Like icy vodka vs a screwdriver. Very attractive piece of work. It doesn't look like the thumbstud was a problem.
 
I just noticed that the 486 blade I put in for imafritz into his 110 is stamped BUCK. It came out of the black 486. They must stamp some of them?

Huh, that is really strange, I hope someone from Buck can shed some light on it. Sure am glad my mod from Eric had Buck stamped on it or my friends may not have realized it was a 110:p Seriously though, can figger why any Buck wouldnt have it stamped on the blade somewhere:confused:
