Why isnt there a Bladeforums Chat room?

C'mon in and join the fun. Usually between 8 and 9pm CST is when the crowd really starts. Sometimes as early as 7 you will find a few starting to trickle in.

Then who the heck am I talking to every night?
 
So, how does one get this NEWnet? All I see is DALnet on the options screen. Since I'm less than semi-computer-literate, I'm clueless as to how to do this and the instructions provided are not helping me.
 
I guess I'm going to need to create a new version of the BladeForums.com mIRC program one of these days...

I just downloaded the program and followed the walkthrough and I can't wait until there are others there to talk to!!! Here's a tip for those who aren't familiar with IRC. After you get on the program and you get all those lines of messages and junk, type this:

/join #BladeForums.com

This is the chat room (or channel) that you want to go into. See you there!

For those of you lucky enough to be on a MAC, nothing you find here will be of any use to you. What you need to do is go to, http://www.ircle.com/
You'll be able to download a Trial Version of their IRC. It's kind of a PIA, but once you do get into Chat it's worth it.

So, what do I do, since mine comes up with about 50 newnet servers. I've tried a couple, with no #bladeforums.com available. More details, please...

Sometimes I hate Macs. But, then things like "I_LOVE..." happen, and I feel better. Until things like "chat" come up... BTW, I'm on a Mac.

No, not unless I come up with an "IRC-to-Web" gateway... and I'm not interested in working on that right now... too much other stuff to do!
