I figured out how to change the title of thread. Pretty ecstatic. Like finding another pocket in a coat you've worn for a couple years.

I'm curious, yet perplexed. I can only edit a title in the thread. Not on the display forum.

I can't seem to change the name, but I just found out that if I double-click on the envelope with the arrow through it I can lock a thread without opening it

I believe there is a time limit because I can't change the title of this thread. Try making a new thread, and then going to the display forum and clicking. I clicked just right of the title (before the hyperlink) and the box pulled up.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think that you have 5 minutes to edit a title and have the changes appear in the list on the forum posted... the same amount of time you have to edit a post before you start seeing the 'edited by' notice at the bottom of a post. Just a guess based on changes I've made on threads started by me in the past. After that, you can see the changes to a title in Post #1, but not on the forum's main page.
