Why isn't this moderated?

Taken out of context, it sounded like the maker in question was being an ass...

Once I saw the WHOLE POST, and found out who wrote it (Way to go Trace!!!) the statement made perfect sense. Because it was finally taken IN CONTEXT. It's amazing how much clarity it adds when you post someone's entire statement.

I don't know about context saving Rinaldi's reputation. Civilized people are respectful and polite even in the face of foolishness, insults, and bad behavior. That said, I think its unfair the Rinaldi was singaled out for criticism. Everyone can make a mistake now and then.

Per trolls, there are a lot of self-appointed troll sheriffs around here. They're the ones that need to be stifled. A good discussion is a good discussion, not trolling. Too often a "knife expert" gets his back up or someone challenges a "sacred cow", and those with bad tempers start screaming troll. The post on Strider knives is a good example of someone having fun by starting an animated discussion. If you can't handle it...don't read the post, or turn off your Dell, but don't scream troll just because someone has skewered your sacred cow.

Childish? Maybe. But funny as hell! If you look at it from a makers point of view, you'd understand Trace's feelings. How about the Strider guys going to your job, and talking a bunch of trash about you and the work you do. That would suck huh? Personally, I am glad there are so many choices in blades. So one type is not to your taste, don't buy it.

Average guy didnt post the whole comment in hopes of staring some crap. Quit your sniveling and act like you arnt looking out from behind your mommie. As far as I see it we know Trace and Average guy is just exactly what he was bitching about...

What's a MAC?.....oops....sorry....wrong forum?....pass the popcorn, pleeze

I am not, as has been suggested by some, a troll. Nor am I a trollop. A random, or a studied, review of my previous posts will support this contention.
Furthermore, I don't see any need for further modulation of this subject.
Case clothed.
