Why Kershaw why?

Would it be appropriate, or just teasing, to add that there were S35VN Links available at the factory sale for $25 each?

IMO, KAI - including Zero Tolerance - is one of the very few cutlery companies that has been able to stay relevant at almost every price point. Obviously it isn't fair to compare a $40 knife to a $400 knife, but their quality control, material choices, and designs provide good value at whatever your budget might be (I'm ignoring the Crown and other ridiculous WallyWorld Christmas package specials). They have a secure position in my personal and gift-buying preferences.

Your opinion is fact, sir!

Whenever a non knife person asks me what brand I recommend, that's always my first answer!

If you can afford 30 bucks, you can afford a really nice knife through Kershaw.

I'm going with TEASING!!!!
That is an amazing value for what you get!

My problem with the Link isn't the 420hc, it's the presentation side steel liner. I'd have gladly paid an extra $5 to have the speed safe pocket milled into the aluminum scale and had a thinner, lighter knife.

I don't carry mine because of it. It sits in one of my tool buckets and gets used as a work knife.
