Why Kershaw/ZT?

Easily the best value out there: Great designs and workmanship, good materials, outstanding customer service. Add Thomas to that and the company is a stand-out IMHO.

affordability and warranty / customer service. granted I have never had an issue that needed me to return one or call in or anything but word spreads, sounds like a lot of good customer service experiences with them

Cuz they're 100% badass...

Serious side - I started out with smith&wesson knives and I got a kershaw from my dad for Xmas once. It was miles above the others and would probably still carry it if it hadn't been stolen off my desk. Replaced it with a blur, then a rainbow leek then another and another.

Quality, designs, innovation, customer service, and not in that order. Who is this "Thomas" I saw referred to earlier? :p

Thomas is the Director of Sales and Marketing for Kershaw and ZT. Never met him but he's been quick to answer some of my questions and the members of this forum seem to hold him in very high regard.

I don't know, but I can't stop buying them.

Yeah, if you look closely at the last item in my post above, you might, possibly, see a smiley... this one usually denotes a silly thing being said. Trust me, with nearly 20 various Kershaws and ZT's in my meager collection, and 2 1/2 years as a member of the forum, I have a slight idea who Thomas is. :) (this one denotes being done without malice). Still waiting for him to give me a 0777, or even a Volt, just for being me.

The last is a tongue in cheek reference to some of the awesome things Thomas has done here for members, out of the blue.
