Why no Adamas variants?

The only negative for me on the BM Vicar is the extreme radius cut tang / lock bar mating face, after extended use it develops lock rock. Such a shame cos it's such an awesome looking blade. But a Vicar with an AXIS lock? now we're talking.

I know I'm not the only one wondering this, Why doesn't Benchmade produce another variant of the Adamas. I'd love to see it done in CPM-M4 or CPM-154. Perhaps they think people do not collect the Adamas like they do the Griptilians or 940 Series? Maybe they don't want to manufacture those large blades out of exotic steels? Could it be no one has ever thought to do it? I just hope when they finally do, it's not one of these one-per-dealer deals where they are in stock for a few seconds and then gone.

Looks like the current M4 and m390 Contego's went from almost 6 ounces to about 4 ounces on the 810-1601, 810-1602 with the carbon fiber bling. Pretty is as pretty does in my world, and as my knowledge grows, thanks in a large part to OEM and birds of a feather forums, I would be looking for the following:
steel upgrade like s20V, m390 with special heat treat for 275's mission;
reconfigured blade geometry to increase slicing utility with no decrease in edge or tip strength;
screw pin-abled lock point opposite pivot with counter bore fit in G10;
carbide hardened and contoured butt end for glass breaking;
blacked out for light discipline;
Contego pattern G10 hinted as xx percentage overlying 275 pattern;
lose 2 ounces with concomitant increase in function and utility (ABSOLUTELY no reduction in function or utility);

(practically speaking- my D2 Adamas slices steak like butter, cuts through bamboo easy-peasy, handles batoning with free swinging blade, and has no problem opening number 10 cans or digging fire pits)

the 757 Vicar stop pin is hexagonal for a reason. That reason is should you develop blade play you turn the stop pin to one of its angled points to tighten the blade up when its locked open. I believe there have been no Adamas variants because Sibert has the controlling interest in the design. If there are to be any variants on any Sibert knife I believe its all up to him to make the call on what changes are made. The 275 was and is a total smash hit. There should be variants would be cool.

Bumping this. It's been a number of years and there is still no updated version of the 275 in m4 cpm-20cv or m390? I've used this knife out in the field for the last 6 1/2 years.

I’d jump all over a 3” blade 7” overall version with a steel upgrade.
