Why no factory micarta scales for BK14/24?

I too love me some micarta, I'd like to see them in green. I think Mooses prototype scales for his 16 were perfect.

I could dig some micarta in the exact dimensions as the zytel scales. They could still make them in black and orange too, LOL

dresnor, new to the forum more or less. I just received my first Becker for my birthday from my two youngest sons. I plan to use it though and not just look at it. I do want some Micarta scales. I am a bit unclear where or what 710 is. Could you take pity on a newbie and point me in the correct direction please?

Those do look quite nice. Couple questions....are those the canvas or burlap...and what color exactly? The pics on 710's website aren't all that great in giving a clear picture when trying to make a purchase. Do they come with the stainless hardware as well?

That said....would still like a factory micarta option while I'm being the squeaky wheel.

I am not sure if it is canvas or burlap. These scales are Black with shades of gray in them. These did come with stainless hardware.
