Why no Love for the 700

My brother has a 700 and likes it a lot. Kind of small for a ZT but I'm sure that translates to a comfortable carry. It's extremely fast and smooth. After the first couple of times I held it I thought I was tripping. If you look closely at the blade, neither edge is completely straight like most tantos. There's an ever so slight curve to them.

I didn't like the grip shape of the 0700. The 0780 is too slim, and the 0750 is just about the epitome of unpractical.

I think on all three of those designs they went a bit overboard in trying to make them stand out appearance wise. The first time I saw the 0750 I set it back on the counter and slowly walked out of the store backwards. No offense to owners or KAI, but that thing should have been called a "Zero Utility" instead of a Zero Tolerance.

No offense, but I have to disagree. I would say "specialized" instead of "unpractical" in the case of the 0750; for it's intended purpose (pull cuts), it excells. As far as the 0700 goes, it's personal preference as to whether you like tantos or not. And for the 0780, for me it's a great EDC, a great heavy duty cross between the Skyline and the old Wild Wild Turkey/Hawk. Hey, different strokes for different folks. There just weren't enough folks that loved them to keep them in production. I'm just glad that I got samples of each in my collection.
