Why no love for the Buck 55

Thanks st8yd,

You can find these SO/LE 55's if you look for them. I also re-read the post's here and just wanted to state the 55 is not the size of the 501, it's smaller and is the size if a 503!

Here is 55 with the 503 so you can see the size.

You beat me to it John, I was waiting for a little more sun to take and post a comparison photo. IF the 55 was the size of the 501 it would get some pocket time with me.

I think I may pull the trigger and buy a buck 55 I dunno I'm not much of a collector but I'd like to have one for the sake of owning one since I have a few 110's and a couple of 112's Thanks for all the input guys.

Nice knife, just not my style. For some odd reason I could never warm up to buck knives.

Ok, you have me curious. If you could never warm up to Buck knives, why post in a Buck sub-forum about a Buck knife?:rolleyes:

Back on topic, is the 55 considerably smaller than the 112? I'd like something that I could just slip in my pocket, and not have to use a clip, or sheath..

The 55 should be great for what you want.... Try a Gander Mt. I saw some there a while back. Or maybe a Bass Pro.

Those stamped blades in the shape of Idaho are pretty neat. Thanks for posting pictures of them.
