Why no love for the Dragonfly?

Nothing wrong with H1, VG-10, or HP 40 IMO. I always have a Dfly in my lf pocket. I used it almost every day.

I always carry 2 knives, a large folder rf and a Dfly lf. Most of my Dfly's are se, they're little pocket chainsaws.

Rather, the wire clip is not deep carry in that the DF2 rides higher in the pocket than I would prefer.

The dragonfly already comes in the best edge retention blade ever the H1 Serrated. You dont need anything else. And you can dye the orange handle a few different colors

I think you mean yellow, but I agree on the H1! I dyed my DF2 H1SE green. Turned out great!

One of the main aspects of the DF2 is how light it is. More variants with G10 and liners defeat that purpose.

Why no love? You're kidding, right? One if the most popular models. I have around 10 of them. My only complaint is, I wish the stainless model was upgraded to the 2 design. The clip is too far forward, and should be wire, and it needs the jimping.

I really like my ZPD FRN British Racing Green DF. So much so, that I bought one son the same model and my other son an H1 Salt Yellow model. He gets to play in salt water a lot.

I need to ask, what's up with the slotted barrel bolt head and with the slice down the side of the frn?

They did a burnt orange sprint in HAP 40 that I thought was quite nice. Actually owned one for a period but it simply didn't get any pocket time.

No way, I would love to see some more with G10. That doesn't mean quit making the other models, but I would like some in G10.

The previous owner dremeled a slot to aid in adjusting and disassembly in the lock bar pin. I actually like it and would like to see it done in production. It also meant I got it for a steel on the exchange (pun intended). For an H1 blade cosmetics are less important to me because the soft main grind of H1 will scratch easily if you use it.

I get that, I'm just explain why you might not see more G10. It defeats the purpose of the dragon fly (small, light).

I own the British Racing Green model in ZDP189 and also the Black VG10 model and love them both. They make an excellent backup to my main EDC especially when I am somewhere like my office where carrying a knife is typically frowned upon. It's a bit more people friendly - one girl said it was cute.. LOL.

What color Rit dye did you use on this and how long? Looks cool.

It was dark green. I boiled the dye first so it was hot and kept the knife in for 2-3 minutes. So far it is keeping the color fine with normal rev tasks. I haven't taken it in water yet like my other salt though.

I know that this goes against the rest of the posts in this thread but the Dragonfly is just to small for my taste. I have one but it gets zero pocket time. It is a nice design with a nice blade shape but it is just to small.
