Why no satin wakis

I first want to say I'm new to Swamp Rat Knives and that I just stumbled upon the wakis the other day and was thinking of picking one up. But I was still wondering why they are only offered with blade coating, is it because of the steel.The last thing, I want are scuffed blade coatings which I've seen on the ones tested.

It's because the amount of effort required to polish a blade to satin is proportional to the size of the blade.

I'm still hoping they evenetually release one, but it won't be cheap - prolly in the $600 range.

If we continue to chop everything in sight with our Wakis, eventually they will polish themselves. A satin Waki LE would be nice, but it would be much more expensive, maybe twice as much.

I'd say that's a hole in 1.
Because then there'd be nothing for an LE version.
