Why remove the sale price?

I usually left mine up unless I dropped the price for a package deal or special circumstance. Then I would take it down because I didn't actually sell it for that much, but i wouldn't sell another for the same price so I don't put the actual. I also like to buy with a phrase like "I'll take x for $y". That also gives other sellers a chance to offer if you don't get in in time. Good for everyone. I know people watch because I've gotten sheaths from a few people that saw me buy something without a sheath and contacted me(not makers).
