Took Kaela for a walk in the woods today. She wanted to test out her new izula.

No I'm not trying to choke her.................yet.

Ok so we DID take the Mr along.

Teaching how to use her izula (which is unsharpened with no point. You'll see why in a later picture).

Me using my Junglas for the first time.

This is why it's unsharpened.

Headed back to the truck. She wasn't ready to go but I had unhealthy amounts of sweat pouring off of me.

That Junglas was a special present from Jeff and Mike. They knew that if they made anything orange and didn't give Kate a shot at it they would be in line for a wicked tittie twister encounter next time we saw them.

that's a sweet looking junglas. don't mind me if i cross the road when i see you coming towards me though with it on your belt okay, we all know you made that izula dull to protect mr. s from himself instead of kaela.

as for sweating, i wear one of those under armour synthetic t-shirts while out mountain biking. much better ventilation and the sweat evaporates much faster than a cotton t-shirt...how about one of those with the esee logo for hiking, biking, etc.

That Izula was a present from Shon and Becky Rowen. They knew we had some minor reservations about giving that child a knife. Sharpened or not. As a matter of fact, I made her a necker sheath for a plastic butter knife from a childrens tea set......she cut herself with it.

If the flower was on a vine it looks like Passion Vine, we have some all over Florida.

people used to use the flower to retell the crucifixion story. that's where the "passion" part came from.
