Why should the Shotgunners have all the ink fun?

got a friend working on a full back size quan yin drawing that hopefully will get started next month. wonder if theres some way to incorporate the skull/knives into the vines or something.....? thinking thinking
 
Now you guys got me thinking, can you smell the wood burning.
