Why so down on the paraframe?

Just be careful with the locks. Like I said, mine literally fell apart. Also, my mini para doesn't lock up well at all. A light spine whack is all it takes to slip the lock closed; but I think it has more to do with the Ti-nitride coating on the lock surfaces.
 
I don't like it because the tip of a finger was nearly lopped off when closing it, because the skin was able to slip into one of the many open areas of the Paraframe.

Bad design, interesting idea.
 
I have tried a diamond stone , a 1000 grit water stone and I just can't get it sharp. I should have bought a Spyderco Byrd instead.
 
About the only thing that I've found to bring about a decent edge on mine is sandpaper. Al Ox paper works better, oddly enough, than wetdry...
