Why so many thread asking for rec. for a really thick folder?

Personally I think it's good for a few more months at least. You can easily slip in comments here or there. For instance I've noticed none of my folders have very good lateral strength for some reason. People have been developing folders for decades now but somehow no one seems to care they have terrible lateral strength for prying!

I am shocked that, despite a few years of spine whack tests on YouTube, knife makers haven't figured out that the real priority should be creating a folder you can use to drive nails with the spine.

STOP!

Hammerknife!

Honestly, people are idiots. They keep buying all of these specific tools to do specific jobs. What they really need is one awesome tool that does pretty much everything including mixing their drinks. They just don't know that's what they need.

Please repeat that. I couldn't hear you over the sound of pulverizing cinder blocks with my TOPS X-ACT-0ps Hammerator.

By the way, you should check those out. Needle sharp, but rugged enough to pry the hatch off a tank.

Victorinox has a new series coming out that can do that. SAK Butler and SAK Bartender. The first one lays your clothes out in the mornings and cleans your house while you're away. The second is for people who like to fondle their knives, because they won't be getting up without falling over anytime soon. Neither have locking blades.

Those sound good, but what I really want more than a Butler.. a SAK Escort. Laying clothes out, making breakfast... additional benefits. They need to get on that.

Gives the term "knife porn" a whole new meaning.

And what if I like thick AND thin knives...what then?
Am I biknifetical?
A knife slut?

Or do I defy being stuck in a neat, little box (which I'd just cut my way out of with a knife anyway)?

LOL. This is hilarious. :D I needed a good laugh tonight.

I can probably describe it like anything else...sometimes people just want the biggest, the fastest, the most, etc. I for example like thick blades, which is why I have two Fat NMFSH's at .370 thick! They may not be the most practical knives I own, but every time I show someone, they simply can't put it down!
