Why the difference with my Rat Shakers?

I don't know much about these and was wondering why they are different?
Pretty sure they are both the 2nd version. One has logo and one without. The one with the logo is quite a bit thicker.

Eric, you didn't let out another 3/16" Shaker, did you? Somebody is going to be happy!!
 
One of them is 3/16" and the other is almost 1/4". I was just wondering if these was released at the same time? Which one is more rare? Any info really would be great.

I'm just hoping the thicker one is rarer since I paid over double on what I bought the thinner version for. I know the thicker of the two feels a ton better in my hand.
