Why the factory clip on Swayback is so tall?

I have the same clip.

The holes did not need to be modified. They are drilled large enough to accept US & Tauchung spoon clips (except the Rhino which uses a Benchmade pattern).

Nice! Thanks for the reply, I'll be ordering it today : ) It really seems to fit the asthetics of the knife much better!
