Hi friends you from far Russia, I enjoy hiking, and hiking with me. After reading your forum I very much wanted Izula. No, not so much, I very very much wanted him)). Reading your posts, reviews, and looking at the photo, it is impossible not to buy this knife
An hour ago on Ebay I bought Signature Black Izula. Unfortunately delivery to Russia will take about a month, and I no longer have to wait for the forces))), so much I want it. What do I do this time? How to prepare for the arrival of the knife)) can not yet begin to explore sites for weaving))).

Sorry for my english)

First of all, welcome to the sight khtima! You picked an excellent knife with the Izula. It was my first ESEE knife and I am amazed at how well their steel holds an edge. You will definitely enjoy it. As for your question on what to do in the mean time, just continue reading the ESEE forum.....I find all kinds of ideas of things to do with my Izula by reading here. Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the addiction. By the way, you don't have to apologize for your English, it is much better than my Russian (which is non-existant) ;)

Welcome and congratulations!

My girlfriend is friends with a Russian couple - she taught them English when they came here. They are really nice people.

While you are waiting, look around and read as much as you can....or at least look at pictures.

Have you tried Google Translator? It may make it easier to read or understand what someone types in a forum if you are looking at knife comparisons or sharpening methods.

Stay around! It's always interesting to hear what people in other countries are up to.

hi khtima, I understand your pain - even though it is usually considerably faster to send to Germany than to send to Russia, I still know the impatience waiting for a knife.
(I have some other stuff on international order right now, and delivery times have not come back to normal since december - stuff I usually get within 2 weeks takes 4-8 weeks to get here ... that is so crazy)

The Izzy is well worth the wait though. Pass the time by drooling over pics - which is what I did while waiting for my first Izula.

Friends thank you for your message. Everything I write I write with the help of Google translator) . And on the few points you may be incomprehensible, just as I find it is not clear when the translator translates from English into Russian.

I will definitely try to read all the threads here)).

I want to ask you to send me a link to the topic always told about independently change these knives. About how you upgrade them in order to become more convenient!)

Welcome, friend.

Do not worry, your English is better than many Americans! :D

Congratulations on the Izula, it is a great knife. Make sure you look at the pictures thread on the main ESEE Forum page.

Каждая страна имеет свой собственный набор общих ножей осуществляется гражданами каждый день - не могли бы вы сообщить нам, что осуществляется ежедневно в России?

Every country has its own set of common knives carried by citizens every day - could you let us know what is carried daily in Russia?

Hello Khtima,

Высоко и радушно к форуму. Самая большая вещь для того чтобы вспомнить когда оборачивать шнур на вашем новом izula связать лезвие тесьмой те маленькие ножи любит отрезать их предпринимателей. позаботьтесь и насладитесь сверчок

Hi and welcome to the forum. The biggest thing to remember when wrapping the cord on your new izula is to tape the blade those little knives love to cut their owners.

Здравствуйте!

Sorry about the wait to get your knife. You can do it!

What part of Russia? I spent some time in Moscow and Vladimir a few years ago. I was very sorry to hear about the bombing that took place there yesterday at the airport. Horrible.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm curious for his response to see if what we're google-translating is as illegible as it is when you convert other stuff to English :)

for fierostetz - unfortunately I do not quite understand your question. Are you interested in what knives are popular in Russia? Most people use cheap Chinese knives, which they bought in the market for 5-10 dollars. They are very surprised and as abnormal those who buy expensive knives. But there are those who know what needs to be a knife, and how much it should cost. Among these people are different popular brand, I will not list them is virtually all you know the name. Unfortunately good knives are expensive in Russia, for example izula worth $ 77. On this I have to buy knives on ebay for a long time to wait for their arrival. I hope I answered your question.

For cricketdave - If I understand you are advised to wrap the knife blade to cut myself when I'm not going to wind? Thank you)))!

For AndyM - Thank you for your sympathy, terrorist attack this very badly ... I was very saddened by this event ... I live in the Republic of North Ossetia, the city of Vladikavkaz.

If you're wondering how to translate google. Write a phrase in English, translate it into Russian, then copy this sentence in Russian and translate it back into English. I think you'd be surprised sometimes do not understand is why I love the topic where a lot of pictures )))))))
