why was my thread for traditionals subsumed under a non-tradtional thread??

I searched the traditional categories for a "what's in your pocket" type threads (limited to traditional pocket knives) and found none, so this afternoon I started "Show us your traditional EDC...not just knives " under the "traditional" section. This evening it was subsumed under "EDC 2, pocket dump" (something like that anyway) which is chock full of modern knives that I have no interest in seeing. My thread clearly said "traditional" so why was it killed off?
 
Pocket dump threads belong in Gadgets and Gear. That has been an agreement between the Traditional moderators since way before Gary and I took on the job. Traditional Forum is for talking about knives.
 
So books, beverages, guns, motorcycles, watches, fish, bbq, etc etc etc are ok? I'm not invested in the thread, I just kind of wanted to see what other folks who carried traditional pocket knives also carried day to day but that explanation is a bit wanting.
