I love the design, and I can't remember the original asking price for the Tilt, but why were so few made? It seems like everyone liked the design and many people want one.

They Sold for around $225 new. And last time I checked they used most if not all the Vanax 75 Available to make the TILTs
I do believe Thomas said, that a second run, or variants were not going to happen. What they made is it.
Same Price for both of them..

I could have sworn Thomas said there would be another knife with Vanax 75. Unless he meant Vanax in general which would be the 0777

Not to sound like a complete ignoramus, but what do you guys mean there won't be more Vanax 75? Did Kershaw use the entire available worldwide supply of this steel making the tilt? No more can ever be manufactured again, ever? Or perhaps manufacturing more would not be cost effective to produce knives? Even when they could see the demand for tilts has driven the price so high? Elmax can't be that much worse, and it seems available in quantity seeing as how some production knives use it.
They may not have used the worlds entire supply. I am sure there is a tiny amount floating around somewhere. Much like BG-42. However Vanax 75 is not being produced anymore by Bohler. The still make Vanax 35 which is what the 0777 used. Not to sound like a complete ignoramus, but what do you guys mean there won't be more Vanax 75? I bet the knife cost more money to produce than what they were charging for it.
It attracts attention.
^Correct. Vanax 35 was produced first I believe, and then 75. 75 was shortly discontinued, and Vanax 35 was newly renamed Vanax. So yes, aside from whatever is floating around some areas of distribution, the supply of Vanax 75 is dried up. Kind of like the Tilt...
Glad I got one. I actually picked up a Kershaw zipper case for it. Never getting rid of that one.
It was made for the knife enthusiasts, not more for everyone. It was created to be special, to be desired and to be great. They succeeded
