Why won't the camera function work when trying to post pictures

Figured it out with your help thanks. Help me out here guys. Trying to post pics of a couple knives to sell and when I push the camera button nothing happens

I’ve struggled here too- using my iphone. I can post pics once in a great while, I think I’ve been able to post pics 3 times. I use Imgur. I’ve never tried to just snap on the fly. Good luck.
 
You want to click on the "picture" icon. (between the smiley and the film strip looking thingy). The camera icon is for media gallery, which is a whole other megillah.
