Once you pick up your knife, how often do you actually see the scale color? It's either in your pocket, or in your hand. When you take it out & set it down, use your own logic & lay it orange side down. Problem solved.
P.S. I dont like orange, either.
If the color is the only thing you don't like about the knife, change the color
 
There are a billion other black handled knives you could buy but I honestly feel sorry for any company you choose. Look at your post history. You aren't happy with anything, ever, and you hardly make any sense while being unhappy.

Further, there are plenty of other knives that use orange. Why just pick on one! Go after them all! Start a petition (or do they not have those where you are from?) forcing all companies to only produce all black knives! Perhaps your country could only allow the import of black knives! Laws could be passed to restrict citizens to only carrying, using, and owning all black knives. If you really care deeply about this obviously glaring issue, why not get serious and start a social movement! Complaining to us is only the beginning.....

Because people like things you dont. And how do you know why they did it? Thats right you dont because if you did you wouldnt be asking. Either way i think you whine a lot over trivial things. And at thirty six years old im well versed in what a color is and what are not colors. That wasnt the point. The point is they did it because they wanted to. KAI doesnt tell the design team "hey, you better consult that filtrum guy on bladeforums before you release a knife with an orange scale." Your desires arent the basis in which knife companies design products.

You care. Thats it. No one else. Buy the orange knife. Dye the scale black. It takes thirty minutes and $5. Or just keep pretending your opinion is the standard every knife company should look to when designing products.

OK, What does integrity have to do with their decision not to produce a black knife? How is making a black knife being good, and making an orange knife not being good. This is very confusing to me.

Do you realize there are so many all black knives that most welcome a little color here and there? Of course not.....

Actually I personally wouldn't even bother looking for the knife because it's a waste of some perfectly good g-10.

BTW the only single letter that is a word is A, u is not a word.
 
I agree with the OP there's nothing reasonable about a bright scale on an otherwise blacked out knife, but I guess that's how style works.

Honestly though i think they actually did this because black contrasts well with a bright eye popping color
Plus they know that 95% of their knives are sold to average joe's so they could afford to sacrifice some tacticool operator points.
 
Color options are nice...I'm glad all knives aren't black or silver etc...diff choices for diff people; that sure isn't the 1st orange/black combo ever produced.
