FWIW, I am an actual, card-carrying scientist. I have performed many rigorous tests over a long life ... none were anything like what Noss did.

Actually, I've never heard Noss claim his tests were in any way scientific. He enjoys them, he shares what he's learned, and he leaves it up to us to make of it what we will.

So don't make the mistake of misinterpreting the boy's results. Enjoy the drama and take everything with a very large cube of salt.

Speaking of science.....I'm re-taking physics this semester for a higher grade and it's a breeze the second go-around :p
 
I am a huge CRK Fan, all I could do while watching Noss's tests was shake my head. Nearly ANY knife is going to break when strucken with a 3lb mallet at that angle. Most blows came when the knife was at an angle in the wood and was hit while being twisted. Plus, I have not seen him break any CRK without serrations. The 2 or 3 that he has tried had serrations and even someone with limited knowledge of knives could tell you the blade would be weaker in that area. I am not a big fan of serrations anyways, I want the meat of the blade to have a good sharp edge, not some grooves that look like crinkle cut french fries on my blade that are really only good of you do alot of rope cutting. And if your knife is sharp enough in the first place, it would slice through anyways. I am certainally not a fan of Noss, and I am entitled to that opinion. I have seen many of his videos, if he likes a knife, he will go the extra mile to talk it up and seems to baby it more. He clearly does not like CRK if you notice. Maybe I'm wrong, who knows, but I would not have 15+ CRK if I thought they were of poor quality. I know I would bet my life on one if it came down to it..........

I'd have to go with ... scientist/pimp. But just "INFI pimp." Not into any other hypothetical forms of pimping.
