Since i bought my Insingo that i've been stunned with how good the wharncliffe performs in my EDC role.
This one's my first wharcliffe blade ever and i really like it.
What i like most about it is that besides being wharncliffe it also has a bit of belly instead of the straight edge you can the in the Spyderco Yojimbo for instance.

So what i'm asking is this, is there any other wharncliffe folder out there with this slight belly besides the Insingo and the Spyderco PPT?

All comments welcome:)

Cheers

Benchmade Griptilians and 915 Triage series have "modified sheepsfoot" blades - same type of sweep to the edge.

BM bone collector is somewhat close. Im also a huge fan of the wharnies/modified sheepsfoot for edc. Blows the traditional drop point out of the water, at least for me.

I'm not sure what CRK calls that blade, since they never put in on there website, but it's not a wharncliffe(as in your title).

I call it a modified sheepsfoot blade.
A wharncliffe has a straight edge with no belly, and the downward curve of spine starts much farther back than on the Insingo(or a sheepsfoot).

Maybe it's a modified wharnfoot, or a modified sheepscliffe:confused::p

Some good knives mentioned above:thumbup:

I would call the Insingo blade shape a Modified Warncliffe. I'd also call it one of the coolest, most useful blade shapes ever. ;) :)

I just snagged one of these from BladeHQ and I'm not sure if I got lucky but for $50-ish bucks the one I got rocks. I really like it a lot. It's the Boker S2 Knife Sniper Bladeworks Folder (4" Stonewash Plain) 01BO160. For a Boker Plus, the one I got is centered, no blade play either way and the flipper action is super good, the big blade probably helps that. The liners are not that thick but it locks up very nicely and it's just over $50 ;) It's a keeper for me for the time being!

Specifications:
Overall Length: 8.75"
Blade Length: 4"
Weight: 5 oz.
Steel: 440C

Hi guys,

I think I found what I want!
It's a plain edge Kershaw Random Leek!
I found it by accident but I think it has everything I wanted.
The only thing I don't like is the AO opening system but I heard it can be taken off so...
The only thing I need now is to find one:D
Any ideas?

Here is a pic of a similar blade-shape on a custom friction-folder I have...

Here's the Rock Lobster with a Case Sway Back Gent...

If I'm understanding the blade-shape you're wanting correctly, might I suggest an alternative... I wouldn't call the Spyderco Centofante 3 a Wharncliffe (certainly the Cento 4 is) but it might have the sweep you're looking for. Excellent slicer, affordable and non-assisted.

There are piles of knives with similar blade shapes. I like that shape, so as it happens I own a lot of variations of it.

Here are a quick assortment that jump to mind (varying from almost a straight wharncliffe to a few with a bit more belly):

Benchmade 940 series
ZT 0770
ZT 0777 series (e.g. Microtech Matrix and Mini Matrix, clones, etc.)
ZT 0808
Brous Bionic
Spyderco Positron
Munroe Sigil (and Microtech variants)--sort of sucky knives to use, but they have the blade shape
Kizer Splinter
