Wicked Edge microadjustments?

I'm probably being extremely dense here, but I just installed the new Wicked Edge upgrade arms and I'm a bit confused.

Is it safe to say that the bottom screws for the arms are the "macro" adjusters where you would set, say, the 17 degree hash mark, where the top screw is the "micro" adjuster? If so, is there something online that shows how he micro adjustments work? I'm not really seeing even with my angle cube how tightening/loosening that (assumed) micro-adjuster is making a difference in my angle. It could be that my Google-fu is weak, but I've looked high and low and can't find something showing the micro-adjustments.

For the Micro adjustments loosen the thumb screw then use the allen wrench to turn the end of the ball joint in and out.

Thank you so much! I felt like I'd read the instructions and searched high/low for how to make those adjustments, I really appreciate it!
