Wicked Edge Sharpener VS Apex

I guess I'm just wanting to know what you would recommend specifically to be able to Polish the edge up to a straight razor finish? I have customers I have to be able to sharpen straight razors for. Just wondering how much everything would cost for the setup I'm wanting. What is your email or phone number? I'll give you a call.

Clay has a video on youtube of him doing a straight razor. You should check it out.

Could you please post the location or address of Clay sharpening a straight razor on you tube. Also is there any other place that I can get help on sharpening a straight razor on the WEPS.

Thanks
Romo

So, let me get this right... In the straight razor video Clay did, he did some weird stuff with the WE so he could get a narrow angle... Is the angle he uses for the SR lower than 15 degrees? Because I've heard this is one of the negative limitations to the WE, even though it has many positives in my opinion... Also, can anyone advise if anything can be done to adjust for the thickness of the stones as they change?

There is a separate adaptor kit you can buy for sharpening lower then 15 degrees. And I also heard they are working on an adaptor for serrations too but it's still in development. They are also coming out with a new model coming this fall but I don't think I can wait. I just hope the old stones are compatible with the new model.

I have some bowies that are 16" overall. How would it do on them do you think?

If it's over 17 inches you will need to clamp it again further down the blade and it will work fine but everything else clamp it in the middle and you should be able to do it.
