Hey guys
I was messing around in the shop the other day with some 2" W1 Round bar and forged this blade out. It was clay coated for the quench but has a lot of crazy cloudy activity that my pics just don't justify. This Blade was a bear to hand sand. I made the handle really long so the user can use two hands if needed, choke up or choke down depending on the task. Comes with sheath by me. Sole Authorship

Blade- 10 3/4"
Thickness- 1/4" with distal taper

Hey guys. This one is a little different for me. I wanted to make a super useful EDC type blade. I forged the steel down from some 1 1/2" W2 round bar and this is from the last little piece of that bar. I didn't etch this but it does have a hamon from the heat treat. No clay was used but I was trying to keep the cost low so I didn't etch it out. I used synthetic for the handle, liner, and pins so it will hold up to everyday use. I sharpen all my knives freehand before they ship, this knife in particular is a freakin LASER. All comments and questions welcome. FIRST ILL TAKE IT GETS IT

Specs
Steel- W2
OAL- 6 1/8"
Blade- Just Under 3"
Thickness- 3/16" But the edge is ground thin and left hard. Takes a Light Saber Edge

Sheath- Black Leather, Hand Tooled Hand Stitched By Me Pocket Carry

PRICE- SOLD Shipped 2 Day USPS Priority With Tracking MY PAYPAL IS MASONLEETH@GMAIL.COM I PAY PP FEES I ALSO TAKE MONEY ORDER AND CREDIT CARD THANKS

I like the hamon on the chopper! What did you etch with, were you shooting for white or black? Hard to tell from the pic. I am sure there really is some great activity that does not come out in the pics.

Thanks guys!

Salem- I wanted to try something different so for the first etch I used ferric, then vinegar after that. I still did the pumice scrubbing routine. I wanted this one to be pretty visible. Thanks brother! :)

I received the edc in the mail today, and all I can say is wow! I feel like I stole it from you for the price I paid. Both the blade and sheath are gorgeous. Thank you for an awesome piece!
