Wide folder search?

Any suggestions for a wide folder.

I would like something this has a handle about 4 inches long, blade about 3 and is wide like the Kershaw ZT 350. NO recurve blades, AO, flippers or holes in blade or handle? Is there anything out there like that?

I'm trying to think of production pieces like you're describing, but I can't think of anything. Burchtree and Sniper Blade Works make some pretty beefy folders that may fit your criteria.

Interesting. Bark River makes one as well? I know Fox makes them. Not sure who was first. Only difference I see is that the Barky looks to use some form of compression lock.

Not A Bark River, they don't make folders (yet).

But mine is not a production Fox.



It is the original version Lionsteel made for the Italian Knife Forum.

Designed by a forum member, and made in D2 steel.

The Production models are marketed using the Fox brand name.

The closest thing I have is the Gerber Crusader. I like it because of the stout blade.

It is a little low-rent compared to the other options in this thread, though.

Yeah I dig my Sniper Blade Works Large LPC a lot. I have yet to score a Burchtree, but eventually a flipper will be in my future.

There are a lot of good suggestions in this thread. That Lionsteel knife is fantastic! I love the look of it and I may have to pick up one of those Fox folders. Impressive looking knives. That Boker is pretty cool too.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. The rockstar was my first choice but I want something with more belly like Fox pictured in this thread.
