I'd like to make a santuko knife out of cpm M4 but don't seem to be able to find wider pieces...I'm looking for something about 4"x18"x.125"

Where are you looking? I think if you call Crucible directly, they should be able to hook you up. Be prepared to spend $15-$20 per pound...

Edited...ah, crap, it's too thick. (.165) You need to take about 10-15 thou off each side though, anyway, so that may work.
