Purchased an item online from Baotach Tactical( no I have never had a prob. with them), and had it shipped UPS. But it was not delivered because of a sticker on there saying "Adult signature required". Maybe because of the tactical in the name?

And all that was in there was a pair of pants that I bought on sale!

rant rant rant:)

"Adult Signature Required" was not put on there by UPS. It is a feature that the shipper (Botach, in this case) can add it to their package for an additional $2.75 to assure a minor does not receive the package. "Weapons" and controlled items, as well as very costly items, are often shipped to consumers with this feature. It is a safeguard for the shipper.

I guess my question is: Where those lethal pants? ;)

I'm still fuming over a delivery that UPS kept sending to the wrong address...for about a month they kept shipping it to Ohio or some place like that...I live in Arizona.

When the package finally arrived....3 1/2 weeks late and I saw the address was indeed correct on the package (si it was entirely UPS's fault)..they flatly refused to refund or even discount the shipping charges. I talked to 2 supervisors and was told the same thing...."UPS does NOT guarantee delivery to residential addresses"..so even if a package never shows up...the only thing UPS is responsible for is depositing the money you paid for their delivery service..the actual delivery part is not something they worry too much about.

In short..."I would not waste "Brown"...on a broke dick dog"!!!

USPS taking 9 days to deliver an "Express mail, next day" parcel...

And 'Brown' not delivering a parcel from RMK because our place had 'burned down' (wasn't that a shock, I had to check twice...lol)

Fedex takes the cake...

They left a Browning Buckmark .22 on my front doorstep while I was 'on the road'...3 days it sat there in that box marked, "Browning Firearms"...

What a cluster f*ck! Browning 'should' have sent it back via my FFL holder, with adult signature required!

I'm not sure how the UPS centers work everywhere, but in NE Ohio I don't pay for "Adult signiture required" stickers, and they are usually put on by the UPS counter person if the value is high.As far as their responsibilty to home delivery,it is the same as a business.I just had a package that was sent on 01/23/02 declared lost, and after much bitching was sent a check for the full value of the package, plus the shipping cost.Ken

UPS: They might say they guaruntee delivery to business address, but I know first-hand that is a bunch of BS.

Fedex: Heck, Fedex drivers are subcontractors. They will leave it on your roof if they could get by with it. But I have had better service with Fedex, and I have also seen some refunds. Never a refund from UPS concerning on time delivery. Big D1
