Hey guys,

When outside, truthfully, what are some of the odder things you have seen.

A 12 foot burmese python did it for me. Although there was another time deep in the swamps of SC where I saw two large red tailed hawks fly around a tree spiraling up until I watched them pounce on a squirrel. I've never seen behavior like that before

I want to play.

A spider web that looked like it was out of a bad B film.

i dont remember who it was, but i recal somone posting a picture of what apeared to be an animal embryo in the snow. it had no fur yet and it was still pink. hopefully that person posts.

bear, in the first picture of your first post are those bagworms or is it a giant spider web? we get things that look alot like that al over the trees here in oklahoma, and they are bagworms, but your pic is in the amazon so i dont know if the bagworms dwell there.

Fighting the wildfires of 98...

I saw what looked like a sunset near St. George, GA at 11 p.m.

Had a crown fire go over my head on a logging road in Volusia County, FL.

And I was NW of Bunnell, FL on a old brick road near where three head fires were coming together and they formed their own weather. It was the middle of the day when the smoke plumes came together - there was some lighting, a few rain drops, and it was so dark you couldn't read a newspaper. I was supervising a fire crew of three tractors at the time. Scared the crap out of me as they were flanking the fire at the time and I told them to get off their crawlers because of the lightning. Everything turned out alright though.

I don't know but I believe it can no longer be found in CT, but those who wander around in the mountains of North Carolina may see this freakish creature.

i think he/it was also featured on monster quest, they are calling it the moderatorus insainuramus.

I saw two Hatians wollup a shetland pony in the skull with an aluminum bat and push it over, dead as a hammer, into a Delta 88 while a farmer screamed bloody murder at them for "murdering" the pony he sold them.

Ball lightning. Freaky electric blue shape hanging in the night -- would have sworn I'd seen a ghost if I hadn't known what it was.

I saw a very stupid mother letting her daughter of 4 or 5 years of age hand feed Doritos to an alligator at Jean Lafitte State Park.

I have been dive bombed by territorial birds before near Flagstaff AZ. They didn't touch me really just kept diving within an inch of my shoulder several passes until I left the area.

I once saw a Golden Eagle swoop down and drive it's talons into the back of a baby fawn blacktail deer. The fawn ran down the hill a hundred yards or so with the Eagle still on it's back. Eventually, the fawn went down and the Eagle ate on it for a while then left.

Once while at Moose hilock campground, I thought I saw big foot... turned out to just be my mother in law comming back from the outhouse....

Probably only 2 people will get this joke from your 2nd picture, but here goes - Winston tastes good - (like) AS a cigarette should!

One time at Seaworld in San Diego, a seagull dive bombed me and snatched some food out of my hand. Everyone around laughed at me. The second time, I was ready. I stuffed the dead bird into a trash can and everyone moved away from me.... :D

I was sitting at the base of a ponderosa pine when two red tailed hawks came screaming by me not more 2 feet from my head from behind me, not from the clearing in front of me but from in the trees behind me. The did a few more aerobatics in a clearing and flew out of sight. I distinctly remember seeing their eyes as they flew past, the rush of wind, and the sound.
