Wife gets put in her place.

Just because something points out the curious difference in idosyncrasies between men and women doesn't make it necessarily sexist. No more than pointing out simple anatomical differences. Men like their knives. Women might not understand it. "Her place" is simply "his wife", instead of some matriarchal watchdog knife police.

I agree sexism is bad, but don't go looking for it when it ain't there.

Yes it is. nobody, not even you, is entitled to determine what is anyone else's "place." i hope she doesn't find out that you feel as though she should be "put in her place," for nobody with any self-respect would stay in such a situation.
We could sit here and argue how absurd your statement is.
But I just don't care.
Now go drink a beer and loosen up your tie, and pull that wedgie out of your butt. Thanks

^^hahahahaa good stuff good stuff.. who said entertainment was absent on bladeforums

sorry... can't help the wedgie. certain parts of my anatomy stretch my pants too far out in the front, which permanently shoves my undies into the crease in the back. guess i won't wear any tomorrow.
peace.
