Wife got me the wrong/right knife for FD

If your not crazy about a paracord wrapped handle, and if your handy you could always make some wooden scales for free.

I made some from an old cutting board.



It's not as nice as micarta, but it could hold you off till you have some spare cash for micarta.

I have some olive drab/camo G10 on the way to make another set for mine.
The G10 was less than $7, and I should have enough for 2 set in case I mess up.
 
At least it's a bottle opener as well - as for wraps - Tradewater wrapped his in a tortilla and ate it.
 
Bummer dude, I on the other hand did get a BK 24 for fathers day, So you can live vicariously through me. ;)

Actually, I think they came out really nice. :thumbup:
 
Giving this one a bump to let you all see the KA-BAR ZK11. I wrapped it, then set the handle end in boiling water for about 4 minutes. Then let it dry. Then soaked the paracord again in cold water and let it dry over night. Its a tight wrap.
