Wife thinks my flipper is too small

She saw my Vantage Select Small, and said that is cute but do they make a bigger one. So she got on the computer and ordered a large. She wanted it for utility, and a last line of personal defense at work. She has one of those jobs (school bus driver) where they deal with the occasional nut job trying to force their way into a bus, and she is not allowed to bring any of her firearms to work. So it's better than nothing.

That's what she said

Abe Lincoln is said to have maintained that a man's legs must only be long enough to reach the ground. Don't let anyone tell you that your flipper is too small, as long as it gets the job done.

Well, I'm glad she found something bigger than yours that gets the job done for her. Tell her "Congrats and Enjoy the Knife!" from us!

How many times has a nut job tried to force their way onto her school bus ?

Looks like that happened this morning in AL. As to flippers, mine was getting in the way so I circumcised it.

Probably 3 times in ten years, the other drivers have this happen on occasion as well. Without mentioning the specific agency, she does deal with families that are in and out of jail. School Bus drivers these days even have restraining orders on file, to protect the kids from being picked up by a non-authorized person.
Mainly it is just drunks and homeless who try to get in, but you never know.

She'll get sued if she uses the knife, or someone will take it away from her. She'd be better off with a small aluminum bat. It has a longer reach. IMO

No solid loose objects allowed, they can become projectiles. She could also be sued for speeding away with a loon on the hood, but that is a secondary concern, and is also the recommended scenario if someone is trying to get in. You just don't let them in.

Sued? Who cares about being sued when your life and the children's live's are in danger!!

I would not want anybody to scared of being sued and to do anything driving my kids around.

Good for her is all I got to say!

Lol, well at least she has good taste.
Should serve her well.

Next she'll be joining Blade Forums and buying tons of knives. "Oh that looks like a great new EDC, and that one would go perfect with my other knife, oh what's that? A Sebenza, only $410? ADD TO CART."

My wife said that a out my briefly owned Benchmade 300SN.

Of course she had already been carrying my ZT 0301 for months.

That poor HTM blade... O_O

It's not HTM. That's a DDR custom HD MAXX Recurve tanto. All I did was grind off the flipper, remove the AO, and changed the clip position. It's currently my EDC and has seen lots of use.

You can get pepper spray about as small as a knife, and I think that would serve her better.

Someone could take the knife away from her, and use it on her, and the kids.
