:) My wife of 42 some years can still shock and awe me . She's not a knife person except in the kitchen . There she handles fixed blades like a ninja . But I've never been able to interest her in carrying or using a folder . Not interested in any fixed/ sheath knife either .

I tried basically everything for many years with zero luck .

So recently she asks if she can have the "one hanging up by it's ring " (by the sink in my shop) .

This : :eek::confused:o_O

She says she "likes the ring " ! :p

I don't believe she'll actually carry it much , but she has it on her desk / work table now .

It's a start . :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Congrats!

My wife has a purple SAK classic in her purse. It was on her key chain but the key chain was getting too much stuff on it. The classic and flashlight are now in her purse. She has never shown interest in anything else. I know she uses the scissors more then the knife.

She does have a CPL tho and carries when legal. :thumbsup:

You better be good to her or you might end up being supper instead of eating it! My Dragon Lady is more a SAK fan, one in her car and a little one in her purse.

My first birthday present to my wife was a Spyderco Dragonfly and she loved it. Now she has several knives. We were in a knife store where nothing got my attention, but she picked up an old Hammer Brand jack knife for herself.

One day last Fall, my wife decided that the SAK on her keychain just wasn’t cutting it, and she needed a bigger knife. We did some online shopping and she picked out a Delica. A few months later we were at the BX and she stumbled upon a Benchmade Mini-freek that she just had to have. Now she has four pretty decent knives, including a custom Medford Dress Marauder that I recently gave her for our anniversary.

The funny thing is, she surprised me last week with a knife as well - a large Sebenza!

Hell, I can't even convince my wife of 42 years to carry even a little SAK Classic in her purse. That said, I would not want her carrying the knife in the OP's post! Might not get to 43 years...
