Cold Steel Wife totally dumbfounds me with knife request !

Now she has four pretty decent knives, including a custom Medford Dress Marauder that I recently gave her for our anniversary.

The funny thing is, she surprised me last week with a knife as well - a large Sebenza!

A large SEBBIE? WOW...she's a keeper....

:) I bought her a great little Cold Steel Pendleton Mini Hunter in VG-1 a while back . Like this : https://www.knifecenter.com/item/CS...er-vg-1-blade-kray-ex-handle-secure-ex-sheath

She had previously said she did't like any type folder and I know she uses paring knives every day in the kitchen .

The Mini Hunter isn't too far from a paring knife ,although somewhat thicker . Nice ergo handle . Smallish overall , but full 4 finger grip size for most women or man's medium hands . In my mind , the perfect knife for her .:thumbsup:

She took one glance at it and said ...nope "that's too big" .?? So much for my logical reasoning powers ! o_O

I'm definitely NOT going to point out to her that her chosen one is only an inch or so shorter folded , including the sheath . And she wouldn't have to worry about the folding aspect . But , I ain't sayin' nothin' . :p

My first birthday present to my wife was a Spyderco Dragonfly and she loved it. Now she has several knives. We were in a knife store where nothing got my attention, but she picked up an old Hammer Brand jack knife for herself.

My girlfriend is always grabbing my smaller knives for tasks around the house. Especially the dragonfly when I was dumping it on the dresser everyday. So I said "do you want one too?" Her response was "no, I don't really need one".
