Preston your lucite/barehead 50th Anny 110 is an eye catcher. I assume it started life as a run of the mill 50th 110. You mention "for Vietnam in-country service " do the colors signify something in particular?
This has to be one of my best 'Liked' threads ever! So many favorites..The Ray skin 110 extra long Vantage 808's 50's Twin sets and of course the Franklin mint 10 point Buck..I put off getting my coffee to finish looking at it! So many folks think Buck was/is just the 110 and black handle fixed blades. But over 75 years the Buck family and employees have crafted a amazing variety of things that cut. Now Custom makers are really pushing the limits of Awesome! Mike I'm so glad you started this thread and add to it with your remarkable shieth's..I just recently picked up this oddball 112. It's not titanium but still feels good in hand. I can't help but believe 100,000 years ago folks would collect and admire a especially good looking flint knife..
