The Wild Bill is as capable as it is beautiful. The half sculpted maple gives positive grip and the right about of ergonomics for multiple hand positions. Truly an awesome and able blade.

Daniel Winkler has been making knives full time since 1988 and has more recently started the Winkler Knives II product line after working with the Special Forces Teams in the United States Military and Allied Forces from around the world. The knives and axes in the WKII Collection are all custom made in his shop. The WKII product line are created through the stock removal process instead of being hand forged. The Winker Knives II line utilizes the same standards of excellence in craftsmanship as his hand forged work and they are born of Warriors' experience.

The Wild Bill deputed at SHOT Show in 2015 and has given users a new experience with incredible utility and application.

The WKII Wild Bill Axe is a tactical tomahawk that was developed for the U.S. military. Due to the popularity of the axe Daniel Winkler has decided to make it available to the general public. It has a full tang handle featuring unique half sculpted maple handle, giving an incredible look and feel. The axe has a distinctive design that was made for quick deployment and easy cleanup. Despite its larger size the Wild Bill Bill Axe is lighter and easier to deploy than other comparable axes. The blade is made from 80CRV2 steel with a black caswell no-glare finish for tactical applications. Comes equipped with a felt lined Kydex carrier with nylon webbing belt hangers.
