OK guys, I had this one posted several weeks ago and just wasnt happy with it. So I Re-polished the blade on japanese natural stones to show the san mai looking hamon! This hamon is like nothing ive seen here on blade forums before, because it was water quenched and acts like a san mai blade... The top is so much softer then the cutting edge that when I polished it, it acted like iron cladding on a jap kitchen knife and only polished to a hazy finish. But the edge is so much harder it mirrored up nicely. This is also done on japanese kitchen knives that have a soft iron cladding and is referred to as a kasumi finish, and is really beautiful. It takes a tree topping edge and holds it nicely! The handle is a wildly figured bacote and has a palm swell for grip and comfort. First ill take it gets it and comments and questions welcomed--- ALSO IF YOU ARE LEFT HANDED I will make you a lefty sheath just like the one in the pictures free of charge. Lefties are welcome here
