sometimes cutting a piece of wood in half can reveal a real wild pattern compared to whats on the outside. just look at this piece of maple for instance that i used for the handles on this knife. the blade is a chisel grind made from 1075 steel that came from a john deere cultivator disc. it has been edge hardened. a friend told me today it was my best one yet since getting back into making knives again. thanks for looking.
