At Amicalola Falls State Park In Georgia, the last weekend in August will have a wilderness survival weekend for beginners and I will be teaching the fire building class.

Are the same things covered both Sat. and Sun., or is it different skills each day?
 
August 28th 10:00am first class is called be perpare,1:00,2:00,3:00 have rotating classes of map & compass,fire building and cordage.Sunday 29th 10:00am edible & medicinal plants,1:00 dangerous critters and 3:00 cordage
 
Wish I could make it. We have been going to that park since I was little. Almost thirty years now. Beautiful country...but Atlanta is getting too close.
 
I might make this one. I'm right down the road in Woodstock. Will it be kid friendly? I have a 5 year old who would dig on this.
 
The kids are welcome and they have a great time and may learn something that could keep them from getting lost.
