WILDERNESS in stabilized Maple Burl, hand made from 1/8" 1095, full tang, full flat grind, edge quenched and triple tempered. The blade is 3 & 3/8" and overall it is 8". The stabilized Maple Burl is hand sanded to 400 grit and buffed. The handles are complimented with two 1/4" mosaics, and the spine is hand filed. This piece is beautiful, and I can't stop looking at it!

The last two photos look like you've polished the blade to a mirror finish, but the previous pics look like a duller finish. Can you tell me which pics are playing tricks on me?

It is the angle of the blade when the pictures are taken. The polish is the finish. Thanks for the compliments. Doug
