DAMN, this addiction, it's worst then alcohol, I just ordered me another Bob Dozier knife but at least I have about 4 months to save up the money for it (who needs to eat anyway!)

The knife I ordered is the KS-7 wilderness knife with another set of white handles to go along with my white handles Model-6

Woooh is me! When my wife finds out!

So you'll be getting that new Dozier around November/December, huh?

Might be a bit cold in the dog house when the wifey finds out.:D

You might want to order sometime around February next time.

Yeah I should be getting it around Nov. or Dec.
By then I should have the dog house insulated and all my wool socks and down jacket washed up and dried. I think I can make it through the winter okay.

Dang, I just thought of it....my Randall Knive Society miniture of the drop point hunter will be shipped by October 8, 2006. That should sell pretty fast since there will only be 1500 sold to RKS members. Yeah, that should bring me in about $700 to $1000 according to the RKS. They will be very rare!

The Wilderness Knife is a big baby. If you get buyer's remorse, don't hit yourself in the head with it. You could do some damage. At least your wife won't be tempted to use it for a paring knife. Unless she's paring coconuts. :D

I don't think it is possible for a Dozier owner to be satisfied and stop with just ONE Dozier knife. Nope. Not possible. I'm at four, and counting....

I need to send you a pic of my Dozier family. If you do regret buying it, I'll take it off your hands. There - your first buy offer, and you haven't even gotten it yet! :D

I have a wilderness knife on the way too. I ordered mine with Yellow GE mircarta. The waiting hard,so I don't think about it.

Now that is kind of strange, I spoke to Bob Dozier himself and told him I wanted the Yellow GE micarta and he told me that they did not have anymore and the GE quit making it.
That's why I ordered mine with the white paper micarta to match my model 6 with the whit handles.

Hope you get yours in yellow...that really looks nice.

Amen Mongo!

You are very correct! I just can't stop. I have my 4 now and the Wilderness will be #5 for me.
I spilled to my wife and told here I ordered another Dozier....her reaction was "good, if you don't have enought for it just ask me"! Now that's probably why we have been married for going on 39 years this November.
Love her!

Congratulations on having found a wonderful woman 40 years ago! Mine hasn't offered to pay for any knives yet, but we're only at the 36 year mark. Maybe in a couple of years

I ordered my Wilderness knife 2 month ago.Bob said I got the last of the yellow mircarta.I had to pay quite a bit more for it.

patrickjames,
Damn, you beat me to it  hope you like it.

I had to pay $35 extra to get mine in the white paper micarta but I had expected that so it was no surprise.
I know I will like the white just as well as I WOULD HAVE like the yellow.

Good for you!
Ciao
