Here is the knife that won the bladeforums camp knife challenge:
http://www.bladeforums.com/threads/camp-knife-challenge-results.687445/

Absolutely beautiful and in excellent condition. No nicks, chips, dents, rust, or other damage on the knife. Razor sharp. There is a slight palm swell in the handle which makes it feel amazing in hand.

As far as I know, this knife is the only one of its kind.

Material: 1080, handforged.
Thickness: 3/16" thickest at spine, distal tapered.
Blade length: 6 1/2" cutting edge.
Blade width: 1 1/2" at widest.
Geometry - Flat w/ convex secondary bevel.
OA length - 11 3/4", balance point at center of ricasso.
Handle slabs - Elk, 4 3/4" long, brass pins, hemp wrap, epoxy sealed, sealed with tung oil and buffed with beeswax.
Finish - Rough forge finish with vinegar/bleach etch.
Sheath - 10oz vegetable tan, hand stitched, tooled and riveted.

$500 includes all PayPal fees and USPS Priority Mail shipping within the USA. Will consider shipping internationally if you pay costs of shipping.

Whooeeey... that's a blast from the past. I have made a few more of those but that is the only one in elk. It has my first maker's mark as well. Very cool. It looks to be in great shape. Let me know if there are any issues... I still stand behind even my early work!

No issues at all, Rick - it's an awesome knife, but it's time to go to a new home.
