WILDSTEER WX - maybe the strongest folder ever!

I am definitely interested in the Wildsteer WX. Unfortunately it-like so many others- is too rich for me . I'm afflicted with Princes' taste, and paupers wallet disease.

This thread pushed me to order one of these knives. I've had it for about two weeks now but haven't had a chance to really use it, but I'm already very impressed. I really hope this company keeps making knives with this lock mechanism, I would love to see them add some G10 and work to make the handle a bit more ergonomic.

If you really study what's going on with the lock, there's actually 2 locks and 2 "lock locks" happening on this knife. The first lock is the obvious notch on the top of the spine that the blade snaps into, but underneath that is another back spring that runs the length of the handle underneath the top spring that notches into a second notch on the tang (technically more like a slip joint than a lock). Then you have the trigger lock that prevents the top spring from lifting, and then the secondary lever that prevents the trigger from moving. Call it redundant but this lock seems bomb proof. The only thing that concerns me is that there doesn't seem to be any self adjusting wear built into the lock, but then if there's no possible way of play then that may not be necessary. I'd like to think that with all the thought they put into this lock, they took that into account too. I'll probably be doing my own review on this knife, but unfortunately I don't have any car doors or sheet metal in my back yard so I may not be as hardcore as BFG was ;)

Very cool knife but too rich for my blood. I'll make do with a CS pocket bushman or a fixed blade.

This review is the most thorough and complete knife review I have seen if you weren't interested in this knife you are after watching thank you
