You may thank or blame the Ugly Knife Pics thread for my inspiration : :eek:https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/ugly-knife-pics.1529439/page-32#post-18404185

This has got to be the most mechanically overcomplicated single blade production folder I've ever seen . But for all I know , it might be great ?

"Made in France" and has a 2 yr warranty , UNLESS you disassemble . Yeah , good luck with getting this thing back together again !

Anybody got one ? Comments or anything come to mind that's acceptable for GKD ? ;)

I’ve seen videos of people testing the lock. It is apparently quite strong. Its obviously not a knife you are going to be closing quickly.

The designer is an avid archer and apparently that little hook thing by the heel of the blade somehow pulls stuck arrows out of trees or wooden targets etc.

Thanks for the link . Interesting test for me , mostly because the L Espada G10 in the old AUS8 is my main carry knife . I use it as an all around medium duty work knife but don't consider it to be a hard use field knife for chopping wood or baton use . Good SD/fighting design, also , but Cold Steel has better models for hard use folder work .

I'm surprised how soft the WX steel is but not shocked at the failure at 370 lbs . But worse is the sheer complexity and terrible ergonomics .

I think I actually hate their test videos more than their "promo pig videos" and I can't even say exactly why. I feel like their locks are seemingly their only selling point and whenever they win their test they need to go be alone for a while because they are so happy. (I think I don't need to get graphic for people to get what I mean o_O:rolleyes:)
Yeah , if I still smoked or drank , I'd go have one with a frothy right now . Sing it now: "I feel good , like I knew that I would . Oh Yeah !" :p:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Interesting feature ! I practice some archery myself , so I can't "nock it " . ;)
