Hiya guys.
Well the rebuilt motor that came with my hammer crapped out after 20 hours of work. :grumpy: I'm gonna give the guy a call and "talk" about the motor he sold me.
But to replace the motor I have I'm thinking of buying a new Baldor 5hp motor to replace the 5hp General electric repulsion induction motor that I have on there now. The only problem is that my belt is 4.5" wide and needs a 5" long pulley but the shaft on the Baldor is only 3.5 inches long. Will this be an issue and cause wear on the motor?
Thanks for the help guys!
