Will a Military clip fit the Tenacious?

Thread title says it all.

A thousand sorrys if this has been asked in the past. I want a black pocket clip on my Tenacious and the Military clips I see on the bay seem to be the same size as far as the screw holes are concerned.

You could contact STR about getting a clip made if you like, or try some Gun-Kote or other coating on the clip. Personally, I polished one of my Military's clips to a smooth satin. A bit better then the original black. :)
 
Okay, thanks for the replies.

I carry this as a duty knife and the black clips blend well with the navy polyester. Little more subdued.

No biggie though. I plan on buying a Military this year. Not sure if I will be able to get used to the point down carry. The last I checked, the Millie clip can't be moved to a tip up carry.

Nope. Clip can't be moved, but honestly, I preference the tip down carry style. The Military is an exceptionally well designed knife. I'm sure you'll love it. :thumbup:
 
If the tip-down is a deal-breaker, consider the Police 3.
IMHO, both the Military and the Police 3 would make superb ~4 inch knives.
